WHO WE ARE
Kha-Nu National Community, Inc., (KNC), formerly Africans in America for Restitution and Repatriation, is a NY 501(c)3 NGO in (recommended) consultative status with the United Nations ECOSOC. The organization is in pursuit of a United Nations General Assembly resolution for the Return and Resettlement of Descendants of Enslaved Africans in the United States to Africa.
To create social impact by implementing policy for the repatriation of descendants of enslaved Africans in the U.S. into a sustainable development city-State in Africa
WHAT WE DO
The Resettlement Resolution
The UNGA seeks resolutions where people of African Descent can go considering the International Decade for People of African Descent (IDPAD), Durban Declaration and Programmed of Action (DDPA) and international law. One of the “remedies” for the full implementation of the IDPAD and the DDPA is to “facilitate a welcome return and resettlement of the descendants of enslaved Africans.” Therefore KNC 's resolution is to:
to gather relevant information, including an international and national legal framework to “facilitate a welcome return and resettlement” into a claimed territory and or ceded land pursuant to international law, treaties, Durban Declaration and Program of Action and the International Decade of People of African Descent.
Kha-Nu National Community has undertaken and supports the work of the United Nations with a "Return and Resettlement" initiative.
